Relativamente allโ€™attivitร  della Franciscan Printing Press, oltre ad un torchio viennese in ghisa del 1860, per la mostra รจ esposta anche una cassettiera contenente alcuni caratteri arabi usati dallโ€™antica tipografia francescana.

The exhibition focuses on ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐’ƒ๐’๐’๐’… ๐’ƒ๐’†๐’•๐’˜๐’†๐’†๐’ ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐’„๐’๐’Ž๐’Ž๐’–๐’๐’Š๐’•๐’š ๐’๐’‡ ๐‘ญ๐’“๐’‚๐’๐’„๐’Š๐’”๐’„๐’‚๐’ ๐’‡๐’“๐’Š๐’‚๐’“๐’”, ever since their arrival in the Holy Land in the 13th century, ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐’‘๐’†๐’๐’‘๐’๐’† ๐’๐’‡ ๐‘ฑ๐’†๐’“๐’–๐’”๐’‚๐’๐’†๐’Ž ๐’๐’—๐’†๐’“ ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐’„๐’†๐’๐’•๐’–๐’“๐’Š๐’†๐’”, through the display of artefacts and documents that tell the story of the Monastery of St. Saviour.

For this occasion, the General Library offered on loan ๐š ๐ฌ๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐œ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐ข๐ง ๐“๐ฎ๐ซ๐ค๐ข๐ฌ๐ก ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐€๐ซ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ข๐š๐ง ๐œ๐ก๐š๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ by the Franciscan Printing Press in 1900, the ๐“๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐š๐๐จ ๐๐ž ๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐๐š๐ ๐ž๐ฌ ๐ฒ ๐š๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐จ๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐š ๐ž๐ฅ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐จ ๐๐ž ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ ๐œ๐จ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ฌ ๐๐ž ๐œ๐ข๐ซ๐ฎ๐ ๐ข๐š, an illustrated medical manual published in 1763, and some ๐’ƒ๐’๐’๐’Œ๐’” ๐’‡๐’“๐’๐’Ž ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐‘ด๐’–๐’”๐’Š๐’„๐’๐’๐’๐’ˆ๐’š ๐’„๐’๐’๐’๐’†๐’„๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’.

Regarding the activity of the Franciscan Printing Press, in addition to a Viennese cast-iron press from 1860, a drawer chest containing Arabic characters is also on display for the exhibition.
